Dave Hutchison wrote, “I was born and raised in Ontario and have called Sidney on Vancouver Island home since 2002. I am a somewhat late bloomer to wildlife and nature photography. I became seriously interested in wildlife and nature photography in 2005 and have evolved and advanced ever since.
My goal is to promote and educate people about nature conservation through photography. I have been fortunate to photograph species in their natural environment which is a constant reminder that conservation and education is vital for these species to survive and grow.

I communicate my message through fine art photography displayed in homes, offices, magazines, art shows, community auctions, and fundraisers.

Something else I am doing that is interesting in the recycling department. I use old pillow cases from the local Thrift shop (50 cents each) to wrap and ship prints and canvases to reduce the use of plastic.
